The Early Days

Our story started in 2015 during our senior year at Santa Clara University. Thanks to a small school with lots of mutual friends, we found each other and instantly had a connection. A few nights at the local bars, date events, and day trips to Santa Cruz later, and our relationship was off and running.

City Hills & Life Thrills

In the fall of 2016, we were determined to settle in San Francisco and found apartments in a great part of the city, coincidentally only a few blocks away from one another. It was during our four years living in SF that our relationship became really special. Many of our closest friends lived nearby and we took advantage of everything the Bay Area had to offer from hikes in Marin and concerts in Berkeley to weekends in Napa and vacations in Tahoe. We both fondly cherish those years and it will forever be the place where we grew as people and as a couple.

Sealed the Deal

Our time in San Francisco came to an abrupt end in spring 2020 as the pandemic changed the way we both worked and lived. We were extremely fortunate to move down to Carmel Valley and ride out the covid wave from there. Little did we know, this short stay turned into a memorable two years on the farm.

Toward the end of 2021, it was time for Peter to make our relationship forever and propose. So just after Thanksgiving Peter, out of character, planned a day trip to Santa Cruz. It was there, revisiting a place we’d gone on one of our first dates, that Peter bent the knee and sealed the deal.

Bicoastal Livin’

And that brings us to spring 2022, and our most recent nomadic move to the East Coast. Thanks to a few successful New England summer trips, we were sold on the move and committed to an apartment in Brooklyn. We’re loving our time here so far and soaking in all the northeast summer activities. Our bicoastal relationship has allowed us to see places we otherwise wouldn’t and we can’t wait for the new adventures to come.

And the rest is history
